Will be going there and would love to hear of any lunch budget cs or ts that I should check out. Any "free item" tips would be helpful (like free refills) or anything that I should check out, thanks. It will be my husband, me and 5 year old ds.

Probably the best budget conscious ts is the Plaza. Their lunch is pretty reasonable compared to most and it's very good too. And of course you'd get free beverage refills there.;)

As far as anything else being free, well, its Disney, let me in on the "free" stuff if you find any...:lmao:

My best suggestion is splitting meals. The adult portions are giant and if I weren't occassionally stingy, I could definately share some meals with my husband. Our favorites to share are the ribs and chicken plate at Cosmic Rays, and the tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbor House. Then of course, you ca bring your own water to drink and put a mix in to make it into lemonade, if that's where you're headed as far as budgeting.

Here's a link that you can use to find out cheap eats from the professionals. I hope it's legal to post this addy!

For CS, Cosmo Ray's in MK has a lot of offerings and they give you a ton of food. If on the Dining Plan, always ask for a Large Fountain beverage (it is covered on the plan). If you do not ask for a large they will give you a medium.

know if any CS is cheaper than any other in the MK if you're paying OOP. The chicken and ribs combo is often cited as a saver at Cosmic Ray's, but you can two adult sandwiches and sides at most other locations for about the same price. It's a good deal on the DDP though.

For TS the Plaza is a good deal. A sandwich with a side is about $11. Crystal palace breakfast is not cheap except relatively in WDW. I believe it's $21 for adults and $12 for kids. Drinks are included, the food is plentiful and good and there are characters.

We are not on the dining plan this year, last year we went to Crystal Palace because it was included in the dining plan. Can't justify the $21 price for my 5 year old eating breakfast, I plan on giving him cereal at a timeshare and having small snacks in between. My husband likes his own meal so no sharing there!!

I think you will find most of the CS places at MK have similar pricing. For larger portions Cosmic Rays is a good choice, Columbia Harbour House has the best food (imo;)) - Pecos Bills has a topping bar so you can add on to your burger and fries. Casey's Corner may be a little less expensive for Hot Dogs.
For TS I think the best place is the Plaza...a little less expensive that the other TS options and the food is excellent. :)
