Where is the cheapest place to buy frontline plus for pets.....2 cats and 1 dog 45-88lbs. Thanks for any information. I just paid $56 for 1 month treatment at the vets.

Amazon! You can get 6 months supply for about $60-70, when at the pet store I normally pay almost $50 for 3 months.

WE get our heartworm med from Petmeds. They send coupons too, current one is 10% off order and free shipping. But we get the frontline from Costco, it was cheaper there. I think it was $35 for 3 month supply

I was graciously dumped last summer with 2 additional retrievers - love the dogs - but was dog sitting and my sil decided she didn't want them back!:confused3. I order from an Australian company - pets-megastore dot com. I have 4 dogs - 3 large retrievers, 1 beagle/shepard mix and 3 indoor cats. I couldn't not treat them but the cost was killing me along with 4 sons who are growing like crazy. Australian packaging - way less cost. My retrievers are all swimmers and we use the frontline plus as it stays on better. We live in a high tick area so that is a must have too. We treat the cats over the summer bc two summers ago we got cheap and paid the price in September. Had to use the knock out on our carpets. UGH!

Hope this helps!

i get mine off of ebay. i just paid 57.00 for a 32 month supply. they send u the packs and a vial, and u open one of the things of frontline and then squeeze it in the glass vial and it comes with directions to tell u how much depending on the weight and syringe without needle, and u just fill up the sryinge to the amount and then apply to ur pet

Wow great! I checked out their value packs, those are AMAZING prices! :thumbsup2

I use amazon too but I get the advanatage brand instead...it works so much better and is usually a bit cheaper!

i have found 1800petmeds to be consistently cheaper than anywhere else. we currently use advantage multi.

Meijer (grocery store) had Frontline for $39.00 for any size dog, of course they were sold out. PetMart price matched so I was able to get two packs there. Usually I use Petmed but it was backordered and we were out.

I just looked this up on Ebay, this looks interesting. I am going to look into this. No problems with the product or the seller?

I don't know about the seller they referenced, but I recently purchased a vial kit off ebay (a couple of dollars). I generallly buy from drugstore.com when they have a sale because bing.com gives 25% cashback (although that ends for good the end of this month :guilty:).

So far, it has worked GREAT! You do have to be careful about your dosages, but as long as you know how to read the markings on the syringe, it's easy. This is going to save me a lot of money (3 different dog sizes plus cats).

I will say to be very careful about ebay. Make sure the seller is selling a legitimate product. There are a lot of frauds out there.

ETA: Concerning the dog/cat issue. My daughter is a pharmacist and looked at the medication. There is a slight difference in the ingredient labeling for dogs/cats (I think it was a little stronger for cats - you can look at your box and see what I mean). You can use the dog version for cats. My daughter said that it would be slightly underdosing the cat so it might not work quite as well, but you wouldn't be overdosing the cat. After researching it quite a bit on the internet, I tried it with mine, and it has worked just as well for me as the cat version. No problems whatsoever.

We use revolution - it s flea, tick and heartworm prevention all in one. We have found that cheaper than purchasing 2 medications.

Our humane society has a clinic. I had one of my dogs at their shot clinic the other day and I noticed they had Frontline cheaper than I had ever seen it. So maybe check with your humane society?

I use Advantage (for cats) and found the best price is petshed.com, another Australian Company. And they don't require a prescription like most US ones do.

I haven't ordered any yet this year but for
Advantage for Cats, over 9 lbs., the 4 pack is $43.95,
6 pack for cats under 9 lbs. is $59.95.
Shipping $6.
Total $109.90

From 1800Petmeds.com
4 pack (over 9#) is 50.99
6 pack (under 9#) is 68.99
Shipping is free but the total is $119.98
Apply TENOFF (-$12) Total is now $107.98

Checked pets megastore and they can't sell Advantgage to US customers:confused3

Hmm, last year 1800Petmeds was more expensive AND required a prescription. Now with their sale they are actually cheaper. :confused3 I may have to order from them this year.

no problems with the product or the seller. The frontline came in the frontline tube thingys that they come in at the box at the stores. Ive always ordered like this, its much cheaper.

WOOOOOWWW! Seriously, my vet overcharges BIGTIME, but I could get a 3-month box of Frontline for less than your vet charged you for ONE dose. If it were me, I'd first find another vet because the one you have is apparently taking you to the cleaners!

I also do my Frontline with vial/syringe from Ebay and have never had a problem. My dogs are only about 40 pounds, and I believe I can get up to three doses out of one XL dog Frontline vial. We have saved lots of money this way without incident. Just make sure to stick to USA-labeled Frontline and check user feedback, of course!
