Budget rates high

I was hoping to use Budget for our upcoming May trip, but their rates seem very high. I've used them in the past, and it was so quick getting our car. We just walked straight to the garage, no waiting in line, no shuttle, and we were off.

I have a coupon for a free weekend day, but even with that they're still higher than a lot of other companies. Anybody else have a better code?

I have checked the prices on budget also and found them very high. Now I haven't rented a car in a few years since I normally drive to wdw, but I don't seem to remember them being so expensive.

Did you try using any of the codes posted on Mousesavers? The Wal-Mart code always works for me and I get a decent rate. Budget also seems to offer better deals closer to the date you are traveling. I'd go ahead and reserve something and then shop around for better deals. You can always cancel the reservation. We are traveling the first weekend in June and I've already had six reservations with 3 different companies, trying to get the best rate!

I agree with the above poster - check out www.mousesavers.com and click on the link for transportation. They list lots of discounts for car rentals. I priced every rental place out for what I wanted and used the various codes and I found my best rate to for my needs to be with National. Check out mousesavers and use the discount codes. They can definitely save you quite a bit! FYI - I joined the Emerald Club (for free) and used the Emerald Club code and that got me the best discount - both from mousesavers. Good luck!
