MyDD 13 and I will be attending WDW in July of 2006, she is dancing at Magic Music days.
Since we are going with the dance studio, I will not be bargin shopping for hotels and park passes. The tour package includes 6 nights at ASMO, transportation to/from airport and all off- tour sponsored WDW activities, 4 day park hopper passes, 1 day to either Sea World, IOA or US and 7 meals including 1 Sea World Luau, a pool side pizza party the night of arrival, breakfast morning of performance, and 3 counter service/snack meals(each) at WDW and one counter service/snack(each) at the other park. A souviner of her performance(medallion) and Dance Studo T-shirt for me to wear day of performance. This is $1566. My mom is buying us airfare for our christmas presents (yeah MOM!)
I have a couple of questions about budgeting meals, I have hard alot of talk about splitting adult counter service meals and was wondering which counters have the biggest portions? If we could stretch those counter service vouchers over two meals, split both lunch and dinner, we would not have to pay for too many meals, and maybe could try a Disney table service. Has anyone done it this way? We are planning on going to Tchop Chop our last night for a treat( My daughter is a huge Emeril fan and loves seafood and asian), so any budgeting ideas to help me pay for this expensive meal and maybe another would be appreciated.
If I were going on my own I would try the dining plan - my daughter and I appreciate fine meals
Also what is the cheapest way to get from WDW to say IOA or US and back again? And also does anyone have an idea how much would a taxi be from ASMO to Royal Pacific Hotel at US?
