Budget pins for trading

Lots and lots of the CM's had their lanyards full of Disney Store pins over the weekend. Hopefully it will improve.

Gee, we almost ran into each other in the World!

Last time they had that really big sale, there were lots of DS pins also, until a couple months later, then they just disappeared. I wonder if Dis took them off the lanyards and melted them down..they were prob sick of them too LOL!

We also found if you go to resorts first thing in the mornings, you can find lots of "fresh" trades. The parks and DTD seems to get hit with the most DS pins. If you check behind the registers, and the stocking people in the resort stores, you do much better trading away the DS pins.

It will, trust me. By the summer they will all be different... Takes a few months to get rid of all those flex pins then they are hard to find on lanyards.

What infuriates me is to see people like this one old woman during our last trip. My 8 yr old son was trading with a CM and then this tiny old woman approached us. She got in the middle, looked at the CM's lanyard then walked away. Afterwards, the CM told me all she does is walk around Epcot every morning when they open looking for pins. The CM told us that one morning she cleaned out her lanyard, trading everything she saw leaving commons and plastic pins only.

The CM also told me about this old man that always walks around with pins on his hat and one morning even demanded to talk to a manager because he saw no CMs with lanyards at opening time...

For being there at opening time, they didn't look like resort guests to me. Give me a break! Retiring in Florida has to be more fun than that!
