Budget out of MIA?

Anyone have experiences to share? I usually stick with Enterprise, but for my spring break cruise, Budget is so much cheaper that I'd rather go with them as long as the experience won't be awful or a rip-off in some way. I don't have an account with them and will be booking through Costco, so no cut the line possibilities. I'll be arriving on Wednesday morning during spring break week, and it's a round trip rental from the Miami airport, parking during the cruise at Port Everglades (no, I won't consider two 1-way rentals as getting a post-cruise rental was miserable for us last time).

Will the line be insane? Will they add extra charges? Will everything likely be good? I want to save the money, but I've had a couple of bad experiences with Avis, which make me hesitant to book Budget.

You can set up a Fast Break account and still use Costco to skip the line. I use Budget/Costco regularly.

I thought I did, but that was a few years back. You add all your info when you set up your account. CC, DL etc.

We rented from Budget out of MIA about a year ago. It took a little while to pick up the car because there was quite a line but besides that it was fine. Drop off was very fast. Please be aware that the rental car facility is not right at the airport itself and you have to take a short train ride to get there. It took us two tries to get back into the drop off garage because the area was a little bit confusing. So on the drop off day I would definitely give yourself some time to get there and then for the short train ride back to the airport. It really is short maybe five minutes…
