Budget or Dollar?

Which do you think is better? Have been reading bad reports about dollar. Need a longer based minivan and have read that dollar charges you extra for the longer based one. Does budget too?

Tracy, I've used both and have no complaints either way.

I reserved a "minivan" with budget (there was no place to specify), and wound up with a new Dodge Grand Caravan. I've heard of both companies trying to charge for the larger one...but that was not my experience.

The benefit to budget was that if you are a fastbreak member, there is no charge for additional driver (spouse/domestic partner).

These are about the only 2 rental agencies we use now. We got with the low bid.
