Just got a great Budget Mid-size SUV (Ford Escape) for base rate of $129 using a code from Mousesavers.com. WOW. My trip starts on March 12th for 7 days.

Thanks, Hillbeans, for the heads up on the Budget code on mousesavers!! I just rented a Ford Escape for 8 days for $155+ fees--total: $202!! That's $70 less than my National reservation! My DH thanks you also!!

Hi, I got a reservation for a Ford Escape during spring break for 9 days @ a base rate of $181.00 and estimated rate of $236.00. I reserved back in January on-line and was shocked when it stated this rate for this time of year and vehicle. Now I need to add an extra day, hope this won't change the rate that much more!
