Budget Hotel that will work for 2 adults and 4 teens

I know OP didn't want parenting advice and figure she is not reading anymore, but wanted to throw in my 2 cents. I agree with all the other comments on taking the girlfriends, but have an additional reason to skip the girls.

There is such a finite number of years/trips you get to make with just your family. Kids grow up fast. This could be the very last time to travel with just the sons. I would relish the time.

I do see that OP plans on taking some friend anyway. Think I would skip that also, but since this trip is instead of a senior beach trip, a couple of friends might be inevitable. Still think a couple of guy friends wouldn't change the dynamic as much as girlfriends. At least it shouldn't wouldn't with my senior.

I would head over to Orlando and Attractions board on WDW boards. They is all about offsite. That is how found out about Druey Inn and Suites. I am thinking about staying at Vista Cay that is near Sea World and US.

I have no parenting advice. I have 11 year old boy and girl twins ,8 DD and just add 3 year old boy to my family.

I take air bed every where we stay at hotel.

If you are really considering bringing the girls, I suggest you try out a 1 day trip first. I was considering bringing my son's teenage friend on one family trip, but we happened to take him on a day trip first. He was really a pain. Didn't want to do anything my kids wanted to do, among other things. Glad I saw that before inviting him on a week long trip.

I would leave the girls at home (assuming they're even in your sons' lives next year) and ask the boys if Disney is even where they would like to go. As a former teen boy, Disney with my parents would have sounded horrible. And this from someone who always had a good relationship with my parents.

My biggest concern with the girls would be them getting along with each other. We brought my 17 year olds boyfriend last Easter. We drove so didn't worry about airfare. He paid for his own park ticket and a set amount towards food. They had been dating a little over a year at that time. We stayed in a townhouse at Windsor Hills. His room with bathroom was downstairs. Our family was upstairs. Worked out fine.
