Budget Help for Baltimore Inner Harbor

I'll be at Otakon - my DH and friends love it. I don't, but it's mostly because of the crowds. The inner harbor is beautiful and I do enjoy the area. Things do tend to close kind of early at night, but we are from NY so we're used to the city that never sleeps!

I don't think the Baltimore metro line runs outside the city at all. I think the commuter train (MARC) does, and I'm pretty sure it drops off in front of Camden Yards. Also, driving into Baltimore is super easy, so you could stay outside the city if you don't mind paying for parking.

Check the baseball schedule. I used to work in the harbor, and it seemed like EVERY year, Otakon coincides with the Yankees being in town. Traffic coming into the city is a nightmare, so if you are going to stay anywhere outside of walking distance, you'll have to give yourself plenty of time to just be sitting in traffic.

The O's play away that weekend. :)
