Budget Hair Accessories?

So I used to wear my hair long, really long with some really long layers, it was easy to fix every day, I just put it up in a clip for work. On weekends I'd do something else but for the most part it was just up. I decided I wanted something shorter so I went medium length and added a ton of layers, I LOVE it, but it's harder to fix in the mornings so I wanted to get some accessories but everything is so darn $$$$!! Where do you all get your hair "stuff"? I'd like headbands and barrettes, I've got a ton of claw clips already.

Budget-wise, I'm always on the look out for new hair-ma-kabobs on the cheap.

Walgreens puts theirs on sale or clearance periodically. Big Lots sells brand names for less. Walmart, and Target are pretty good too. I've found marked-down accessories at the grocery store.

Walgreens has buy one get one free on some hair accessories this week.

has awesome bags of hair stuff. I think they had Goody and Conair. They are bags with 4-5 different things in it for $3. (The hair stuff was fine, some of the packaging was damaged inside.) I got a ton of them for DD and her friends.. easily $15 worth of stuff inside.

Definately Big Lots. The grab bags sometimes have some interesting inclusions in them. (an 80's neon glow headband or such, though I guess they are coming back in style!) But definately enough good stuff in there to make them worth the $2-3!

I buy stuff for DD at Target on clearance. Check the endcap near the hair accessories or the make up, I've found them in both places.

If you're near a Shopko, they have a bunch of cute accesories (hair and things like bracelets, necklaces) and they're 5 for 5 dollars right now. Normally they're 5.99 each.

My walmart was just clearancing out certain brands they are no longer going to carry.

You're gonna laugh but Claire's. Especially when I want trendy.

Also I've had luck at dollar stores. It's hit or miss but you can get stuff.

I've checked Claire's and Icing, we have both in our mall. I found some cute stuff there.
