Budget Friendly Hotel in Ft Lauderdale?

Hi!

Im headed to a conference in Ft Lauderdale, and were wondering if there were any nice budget friendly ( under 80 dollar) hotels out there? I looked at the LaQuinta Ft Lauderdale Northeast, but it got bad reviews!! EEKS!! now Im scared to try to pick a hotel!!! My conference is at the Westin on 400 Corporate Drive (but its a LOT of money to stay there ( :

What is considered fort lauderdale is huge! Northwest ft. Lauderdale is nowhere near the hotel your conference is at. Just keep in mind how far you want to drive when looking for hotels.

This La Quinta is fairly near your hotel, and gets good reviews. You'll need a car, though.
