New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

I'm having trouble finding where I activate this perk. Do I do it through Hulu when I get the card or can I do it through Chase before I get the card in the mail?

Thanks in advance!
On the Chase App, on the main page for the card, click on "Benefits & Rewards". You will see the $10 monthly streaming credit there and be able to activate it.

Awesome, thank you so much!!! I was trying to do it on the Chase website and wasn't seeing it anywhere.

Thanks again :) so nice to have a great Disney community of people helping each other!

I already had the Disney Premier, but I wanted this one. Specifically, I wanted the signup bonus for this one. I have a lot of Chase cards so I was not expecting instant approval (but I did have room under the Chase 5/24 rule). Here's how it went down:
  1. Applied yesterday and got the "we need more time to process your application."
  2. Called the status line this morning (800-432-3117, it will ask for last 4 digits of card, just stay on the line until you hear more options).
  3. Got the dreaded, "you'll hear from us in 7 to 10 business days." (note: if you get a different time frame, generally 2 weeks is good news and 30 days means they haven't processed your application yet - either way I would call daily until you have been approved or it changes to 7 to 10 business days).
  4. Called reconsideration line immediately (888-270-2127).
  5. First person verified that I am who I say I am and that I applied for the card. Put me on hold, then transferred me.
  6. Told the second person that I applied for the card and I'm trying to move the application along. She then verified me again. Put me on hold then came back and said "congratulations, your card has been approved." The entire call took about 20 minutes, most of which is me on hold.
  7. Received the $300 Disney eGC immediately via email.
Point to all of this is, if they give you 7 to 10 days pending status, follow up as shown above and don't wait for a decline letter in the mail.

Not sure if this has been mentioned. I was just inside my Chase Dashboard. You have to go into the Card Benefits section of the Disney Inspire Card and "Activate" the $10 streaming credit. It also requires yearly activation. If you do not do this step you will not receive the $10 streaming credit

Just wondering - for the $200 Disney rewards, the terms state "Qualifying Purchases also include Disney Cruise Line stateroom rates booked directly with Disney Cruise Line in U.S. Dollars (which includes associated taxes and fees but excludes folio expenses and port adventures)." Would cruises booked with a TA not be eligible, or am I reading too much into it?
Yes, booking with a Disney TA is considered booking direct from Disney as the charges will be from Disney. What won't be direct is when the charge says Expedia or Orbitz or anything that isn't Disney.

What’s the downside to just canceling the premier card? Does it just drop your credit score?

I just canceled mine before seeing this card. Usually I get a small drop which goes back up in the next few months. I don't churn a lot of cards but Disney is one I've opened, downgraded, closed fairly often. I'll apply probably late April/early May to time the card benefits to last through a few of my trips without paying an additional annual fee 'if' I decide it's not a keeper. It takes 2 years (with Chase) for a card to drop off for 5/24 purposes. Right now, over a year's period, I think this could be a keeper. My 4 grands cost me quite a bit.

How long have you had the Premier? At least a year hopefully.

I think this more about the whole package thing since we all have DVC the room is already paid unless your out of points and most DVC members have AP's.

Even with that we still spend that much but we like to shop and eat lol

For myself on my solo trips Disney is lucky if I spend $500. On my family trips Disney really gets lucky!

@airjay75 or others with 2 Disney Cards.

Do the two cards combine the Disney Rewards into one wallet/bank or are they seperate?

If separate are you able to combine like we can with Chase ultimate rewards?
I've had two up til this week. Can't say I tried to combine but as individual cards they are not combined. I'm now using pay yourself back but before that each would get their own redemption card. That idea may be a little high tech for D.

Yeah I've had it 4 years

Has anyone else not received their $300 gift card? I was approved yesterday afternoon, and still haven’t received the email (I checked my junk folder). I sent a secure message to Chase, but wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.

As a side note, I was fairly shocked about how good this card is…. Well, if you’re a crazy Disney fanatic! 😊

As I’ve been churning business cards for a while I’m way under 5/24 and decided to use one spot for this one. The first year will be a net positive and next year I’ll decide if I keep it. Likely will downgrade to the no AF to have one of the cards in case there are futures incentives (I currently don’t have any Disney cards).

Interestingly, Chase hasn’t automatically approved an application for me in years, but this one was. Maybe Disney is sending some “magic” to Chase to incentivize approvals 🤣

This rollout period will be the easiest time ever to get approved as they 'prove' that the card is a winner. I'm surprised @cruisehopeful didn't get approved with 5/24 waived.

For those that just upgraded your current Disney card can you keep the card you have currently and the benefits just change on the back end? I have the metal 100 year card and I don’t want to change the card.

Often times when you do something like that the old card will keep working for a bit, all the charges are treated like the new card since the account has been changed on the backend.

Folks, you're all getting bogged down in the boring "details." More importantly: what design will you choose?!

I was ready to go with Mickey doing the pose, but I currently have the Disneyland 70 design... so I'm thinking Stitch! But what about Coco? Lol

I'm boring and I've had the same Sleeping Beauty castle one for all my cards. So I'm doing it for this one as well.
