Budget Fastbreak - MCO

Signed up for Budget Rapidrez ,Fastbreak today and made a booking (first time with Budget). I cannot see any mention on the booking confirmation I printed saying to proceed directly to car. In the past my Alamo and National bookings quite clearly says proceed directly to car but with Budget I'm not sure ?

You proceed to the Budget kiosk in the garage, not directly to a car. At the kisok they will have you sign your paperwork and tell you where the car is (usually what row to pick from).

The 1st time you use fast break you still must go to the counter in the main terminal not the garage. They will turn you away, I saw this on our last trip.

Yes....this is the process I had to use as a fist timer.
Very straight forward and easy.
The strange this is,when I went to the terminal desk, the rep asked me "why did you come in here and not go straight to the garage desk "

Went last Feb and the Budget check in desk was at least 75 people deep. I called Budget while in line to join the Fast Break program. Then sent DH out to the garage while I held the place in line in case it did not work. He was able to rent in the garage with no problems.

So I say go out to the garage first.

I had no problem December 2012 first time with fastbreak went right out to the garage- was not sent back in.

To get the fastbreak to go straight to the garage do you need sign up for the one were you need to do 3 rentals in a year? If you sign up for this one and don't rent 3 times in a year do they just drop you and no charge or anything like that?

Used budget fastbreak first time last summer and went straight to the garage to the booth there. No line. There are not open 24hrs. I think they closed at midnight. I was there around 1130pm so I was glad I made it in time. Sounds like this is a ymmv kind of thing depending on the budget employee
