Budget Car Rental

Budget seems to have some good rates right now. I don't like the fact that they want your credit card number. Has anyone booked with them, not taken the car and been charged for the day? TIA.

I haven't booked with Budget since the time they insulted me when I refused to prepay for gas (which is NEVER a good deal BTW).

Hopefully, they've ended their high-pressure sales tactics. They are also off-airport which adds a good bit of time to pick up and drop off.

I've taken to using L&M and off-brand company with low rates AND a location at the airport with Avis, Hertz, etc. Their toll-frre number is 800-227-7368.
