Remember though that monthly bill for Direct Tv is only for the first year and they require you to sign up for 2 with a hefty fee if you want out before then. Also, if you have any nicks on your credit report they can, and will, charge you around $300 for the equipment up front. That's a big reason why I stick with cable.
