First, my car was not ready when I arrived at Fast Break. A minivan. Not some random car. The agent was extremely rude. Eventually, got a nice Pacifica.
Make sure you check your receipt against what your reservation shows you should be billed. I returned my car yesterday and was charged a refueling fee even though the documentation indicated that I returned it full. Make sure you check your receipt against what your reservation shows you should be billed! It would not surprise me if this a common thing they do to get an extra $15.99 off of every car that comes back.
I called customer service and she wanted the full details of my gas station receipt. What time, where, how may gallons. Really?
I won't be renting from Budget again.
