budget: anyone have a spreadsheet for 20 something moving out

Wondering if anyone has already created a spreadsheet of expenses for a young 20 something would incur if they were to move out of their parent's house.

My cousin is planning on doing this and she has never lived on her own before. So, if anyone has a list of all the expenses already typed up.

This would be greatly appreciated. The person she is moving in with has never lived on their own either.

I just want to make sure her eyes are wide open, about how expensive it will be.

Expenses are very simple:

Rent
Lights
Insurance (health, dental, renters)
Cable, Phone, Internet
Food
Laundry/Dry Cleaning
Transportation (include car insurance, gas, car payment if they have a car)
Cell Phone
Credit Card bills (if any)
Entertainment (movies, clubs, "hanging out", shows, etc)
Incidentals

They always think it's easy until they see in black and white how much they have to lay out each month!

Also:

Clothing
Emergency Fund (Car Repairs, Insurance Deductibles, etc)
If they plan on pets...vet care, food, flea control, etc.

Another thing to consider is to make sure they have a very set rule on how the expenses will be divided and who is responsible for what around the house...sort of a chore calendar or something.

When I moved out at 17 I didn't have a spread sheet with all the potential expenses and if someone had handed me one, I would have just rolled my eyes - but then again, I didn't worry about things like renters insurance - for what??? the mattress on the floor or the old chair we found waiting for the trash truck? Or entertainment - if there was enough cash left over after paying bills we'd go to the bar with 25 cent well drinks, on a light week we'd eat lots of Raman noodles, on a good week, we'd order out pizza twice.
Let em go, and they'll figure it out on their own.

I'd say take it and multiply it by 1.5 or 2. Sometimes bills and expenses are more than you budgeted for! Gas prices fluctuate, sometimes you get a high phone bill, car accident deductibles, food prices are on the rise...
