Just for budget wise how much do you spend on a average day at the Parks.

It is only 3 of going, us 2 adults and a 6 year old daughter

Only 11 more days and this will be our first time at the World.

We spend about $200-$250 per day. But we are a family of 5, 2 adults 3 children. That accounts for food, souveniers and even dry cleaning. I budget that much because I don't want to spend time worrying about every purchase, but if I was on a tight budget I'm sure I could get it down to $150 a day. We also do at least two sit down meals a day, so you could do more counter service or in room dining to make things more reasonable.

We are also a family of three, myself, DH, and DD who is 5. We always budget $100 per day. This includes one sit down meal usually lunch and a counter service meal. We always have cereal bars or pop tarts for breakfast in the room. My DD buys one thing a day at the parks sometimes a very inexpensive item sometimes a $15-30 item. So far this has worked out great for us four trips running. Some days we go over $100 and some days we stay under so it all shakes out in the end. Have a great time whatever you budget!!

We budget about $100/day for our family of 5. We eat breakfast in room, we bring our water, we eat counter-service for lunch and sometimes for dinner as well. This includes a snack too. The days we have a sit-down meal we go well over the $100, but on other days we are under so it all evens out in the end somehow. We tend to not buy souveniers for our kids - they always end up in the trash later :( . If they really want something they'll buy it with their own money, but even then they'll only buy 1 thing or sometimes nothing at all.

I assume you mean after Resort and ticket expenses.
We budget $100 to $150 a day for two adults and two children, depending on where we plan to eat that day. I almost never spend that much. I would say if I averaged our expenses over a whole trip it would come out to about $75 a day. Higher for shorter trips (we like to go for 10+ days with 7 or 8 park days). We tend to spend more on the days we don't go into the parks, we eat a lot more those days and they are the only days DH and I will buy adult beverages.

Thank you, now you give me a idea on how much to budget at the theme parks.....

For me, it depends on who I am traveling with. If it is with my husband, I spend more because we eat at nicer restaurants and have a few drinks. If I am with my son, we are usually counter service, maybe a sit down here or there like a character meal. He is only 4 and doesn't quite appreciate "finer" cuisine so why bother.

So with my husband, I budget usually $100.00 or so per day, more if we are going out for the night. With my son, if we aren't buying alot of "stuff", $50.00 is very doable.

If all three of us are there (well, it will be four now with our littlest guy) we usually get out for around $100.00 or so a day there as well as we still don't do as many sit downs nor add the drinks.

I voted $150 a day because both of our children are charged as an adult for their meals. This really increases the costs for us.

My son and I are the only ones who go now and I budget the ridiculously low price of $30 a day! :p

I usually stay in a suite that has a kitchen. I make all breakfasts there, skip lunch and wait until we get back from the parks to eat dinner. My son is still on kid's meals and sometimes I order one, too!

We do NOT buy souvenirs, we go too often for that, and bring our own drinks and snacks. It works out so we can go more often!

We're a family of 3. DW, me and DD-8. I'd say on an average day in the park we spend under $75. On our last trip in November, we averaged $17/person/day for food, so that comes to under $60. Add $7 for parking because we didn't have AP's last time around.

Souvenir buying is done mainly at DTD, not in the parks, though we will occasionally pick up something unique to the parks. Last trip, for example, I bought a nice Philharmagic pilsner glass and my wife got a t-shirt there.

DH and I usually budget between $100 and $150 a day. This is to include all meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day.

We are usually under that, but we always budget more just in case there is a special splurge along the way!!

Only 8 more days and we will be in WDW, can't wait....

I was hopeing to budget between $75 - $100 while at the parks, we are staying on site which is already paid for, and so is our tickets......
