Budd Dwyer.

I figure a lot of people here are older than me and could give me some information. If you didn't know, Budd Dwyer was a treasurer in PA and shot himself at a press conference before a prison sentence in 1987. Can someone who knows about this give me some information about why he was sentenced to prison?

Sorry if this makes you uneasy, I'm just curious.

I live about 1/2 hour away from Harrisburg and can remember him ending his life on TV. I don't remember why he was being sentenced. I'd suggest doing a search with his name and I'm sure something will come up.
