The Bud and BBQ festival at SeaWorld Orlando is this weekend, and the 1st weekend of March. Anyone going????

I am considering it. Holly may be able to get an Educators Pass. Not to mention, the Fun pass is only $65 for unlimited admission for the rest of the year. Have you been before? How is it set up?

Thanks,
Ted

We went last Saturday!!!!! the concerts were fantastic! I hate to admit it but I didn't have a clue who Emerson Drive was, but they put on a great concert. darrell worley was great , too. The afternoon and evening concerts lasted 2 hours. The opening act was a local singer who was really good. That was followed by a band who's lead singer is also the local Fox News meteorologist. They were good, too. we didn't have much time to do anything but go to the concerts, the Clyde and seamore show and spent some time in Wild arctic watching the Walrus. We didn't get the BBQ meal special they had for pass holders but we shared a combo meal at the Smoke house. We are going back again this weekend. Definitely a place to be if you like country music!

I would LOVE to go, but it's a bit too far I think!!!

Some of the acts that are on are great, wish I was there!!!

Is this going to greatly increase crowds at SW? We want to go two days between Sunday and Wednesday but would avoid the festival since we have two young kids who would not be interested. Should we avoid going Sunday?

I don't think you should stay away Sunday at all. Most of the fans there for the concerts will only have time to eat, go to a show or 2, and go to the concerts. We didn't have time to see much of the park at all. We were there by 10AM and the last concert ended around 8:30 PM.

Where will the festival be? Inside the park or outside? Will any shows be cancelled because of it?

All the regular things are scheduled as usual. The concert is where the ski show used to be. They set up BBQ tents near the penguins and had a couple stages in that ara for bands and cloggers etc.
All the rstaraunts are open.
