EW!!!!
I have been dealing with an annoying cough following an upper respiratory/sinus infection for a couple weeks now. As a natural option to cough medicine, my doctor suggested I try a spoonful or two of dark Buckwheat honey, which according to him (and I googled) has been shown to help children with that nagging night cough.
So I tried it.
What in the name in all that is holy were these bees doing before making this honey???? There is an aftertaste that can only be described as Barnyard-y. My DS6 sings this little song "Poop in the barnyard, PU, somebody did it, that's you!" And this is what I thought of when I tried this stuff. Also, I thought Was that Dr punking me?
I have also made certain members of my family try it while I watch and laugh, sort of like the Beverly soda moments at Club Cool in Epcot.
Hey, they didn't believe my barnyard-y description.
Anyway, I am still coughing!
