Bubbles?

On our first cruise, I had no idea to bring bubbles but a friendly guest gave my daughter a bottle to use. I'll be bringing a few small bottles with me for the grandchildren and to share as well.

*grandchildren -- boy that makes me sound old!*
*slinking back to to shadows to await my 42nd bday this weekend*

We did, but we seemed to be the only ones. I was a little worried they'd make the deck slippery too.

We brought some on our cruise!! We didn't really see anyone else with them, but we were glad that we brought them!!
we were up on deck 10 so the bubbles could really fly!
my advice to you would be to bring them, but be willing to either throw them out or give them to a kid when you are done with them. Who wants to carry around a leak hazard like that??!?!?
we actually brought some that were leftover from a wedding.
:D

I already packed bubbles for our upcoming cruise in February. I think they will be a fun thing at the Sailaway Party! My kids have always loved to blow bubbles, even now at ages 12 and 9.

P.S. Happy Birthday Lisa! Don't feel bad, I will be 42 this year too!:teeth:

We'll be bringing bubbles for our May cruise. Our Dollar tree has mini bottles of bubbles in the party section. You get six bottles for $1.00 - enough to share and not costly if you want to throw them away after the party.

I took a "six pack" of bubbles for my two grandchildren also, I was glad I did. They had a great time watching them fly away. The "six packs" are usually a lot cheaper than the single bottles, and I just gave the other 4 bottles to other kids who were around us. It was like being on a big sailing bubble machine.
I wanna go back now!! I am freezing!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I ask Shirley from the Perfect Gift to add them to my ds gift basket from Mickey... That way, I don't have to worry about them spilling in our luggage... She also added some "glow sticks" to the gift basket that my ds loved during the evening deck parties.... Bring the bubbles and enjoy!!!!

I bought one of the mini-bottle packs that they sell in the party supply sections. You often see these at weddings. As far a slip hazard, we used them on deck 10, and blew mostly out over the water. My kids had a blast with them, and passed out bottles to lots of other kids. They were a great ice breaker!

Even big kids like bubbles. My husband wouldn't put his bubbles down at the deck party, he blew them until the ship went into open sea and as it was very windy they flew around really well

we used them on Deck 10 way up at the bow. Age range 8 - 52. We had a blast watching them sail away as we sailed away. We also used the kind for weddings and disposed of the leftovers (no leaky bottles here). We also took care not to spill them on the deck. We got some great pictures of the bubbles drifting away into the sunset as we left port.

Our DIS group all brought bubbles. There were 10-12 kids with us & we had a great time with it right in front of the stage.
