I am in search of a place to find bubble tea in WDW. I thought awhile back I read about it being in Japan or China pavilion in Epcot?

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

I've never seen bubble tea available in the stands (thought I could be wrong - I really only checked China out for tea).

The ONLY place I've seen bubble tea is in the World of Disney store where you can buy it and make it yourself. They come in square, tin boxes and I think it has Mulan on it.

You know I read this also but in June I was on a mission to find it. Searched China, japan and AK and found nothing!

Just back and saw it was available at the CS location in China.

I was excited, until I saw the description which stated that it was made with chocolate milk. Not the bubble tea I am used to, so I skipped it.

hmmm weird...they did not have it in June. Choc milk? I never had it that way either.

I had it and it was AWFUL. I know it as Boba tea and I guess I just expected something different. It was like a chocolate milkshake with coffee and the tapioca pearls. Disappointing....

I had some as a part of a 3 piece dessert at California Grill last week... it was peach flavored and DELICIOUS!!

I can't find out where I read it before. I love, love, love bubble tea and it would be great if I could get it at my favorite place in the world too.

Thanks...I will have to try it when I am there.

I will try it anyways, i get one around where i live and it is a cookies and cream milkshake with bubbles in it, the first time i tried it was in Chinatown in Philly, I was hooked :worship:

I truly have never had the true boba tea, i always get it with something fruity or creamy. Doesn't sound like the true version but there is a shop by me around Rutgers University that makes it with everything from milkshakes to true tea. Yumm!!

Ok. What's ''bubble tea''????:confused3

Bubble tea, which is also called Boba tea, is a drink popular in Japan that has come overseas to make a craze here, most popular in large cities and around college campuses, it is tapioca pearls, but different than those found in tapioca pudding, these are bigger, generally brownish/purplish/black and are chewy when you suck them through the straw, typically paired with some sort of tea. but you can get it with anything from hot tea, cappucino, milkshakes or fruity slushies. If you have any opportunity to try it, you should, you might like it.

I know, i saw pics in of that dessert in someone's report, looked good, but wasn't the original one that I had heard of. Won't go to Cali Grill just for that though...unless I could get a big one as a "to-go" order????

Thank you all for responding!!!

I was there in April and searched for it. Then I posted on here to find out where it was supposed to be, and was told the CS in China. It wasn't there. I asked the CMs and they said no. So unless it's a recent addition, they don't have it anymore.

Really, I did just see it there on 8/22.

I hope its still there! The Boba Tea is my traditional EPCOT-Evening-EMH-Before-the-American-Adventure-Show drink! :goodvibes

The chocolate flavor might not be for everyone, but it leaves a nice cool spot in my tummy on a hot night at the park. :rotfl:

I hope it's still there! Maybe I'll actually get to try it in October! It's one of those things I don't think I will like, but have to try. And I've been trying to try for several trips!

Well, I promised that I would report back on the bubble tea....they did have bubble (boba) tea made with a watery, chocolate milk concoction in the China counter service. The "bubbles" were not bubbles at all but looked like brown jello that was massacred and cut up into little thin chunked strips, not very good and I WOULD NOT recommend it.

Aghhh I would love another bubble tee drink, but I didn't really want a chocolate one and my GF is lactose intollerant so she can't do the milk.

:(

I hope they add more flavors soon. I think this would be a sought after item if they added it too the menu... Considering it's very popular at a lot of ethnic restaraunts i've been too.

They were selling it at the CS restaurant in the Chinese pavilion. I like bubble tea. However, I did not like whatever that stuff was at all.
