Bubble tea @ Disney or where?

This, heh, I'm one that thinks it's gross.

Don't get me wrong, lots of people love the stuff; I know plenty of people all 'ooh, boba shop!' and I hope your daughter enjoys it when you find her some! I'm not saying it's bad or anything in a general sense.

Just personally the texture of it doesn't work for me. I don't like flavoured beverages to begin with or much slimy stuff. It is one of those things you like or really don't I think.

:rolleyes1 Yep that is my dd, she has a taste for the unique. That would not be my "cup of tea" but, she tried this "pop" from in the Japan shop and liked it a lot. It is a bottle with a top popper, you hit and a marble thing floats down into the pop.

Artichoks, and asparagus, any kind of olive leaves, strange looking veggie's, she has a collection of teas that would compete with the British families.
:hippie:

In general, I'm with her! :lmao: My tea cabinet has overflowed onto the countertop. Does she like white tea? There's an Adagio white... heh.

Also with the veg! The bubble tea however, blarfy.

I know someone used to be into that soda, I know exactly the one you mean, because whenever I saw them with it, I'd go on about how the Japanese gov't keeps the giant fatality toll from people choking on it secret. I'd just get the empty bottle with the ball on the inside of the neck rattled at me.

There's a bottled drink like bubble tea, actually, or there used to be. Same person liked it. It had weird, large, coloured bubbles suspended in clear liquid. If it's still out there, bet it's at the same place she gets the soda. If it's not, I assume it was recalled due to extreme toxicity. ;)

We have bubble tea all over here.. I went with one of my friends to a movie, and we stopped by the bubble tea stand in the mall and she got a smoothy and I got a bubble tea. SHe tried it, and almost barfed up the tapioca.. Said it felt like fish eyes in her mouth. :lmao::lmao: I like it though!

As for Philly, there will be places there that serve bubble tea.

quick google

http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=bubble+tea&find_loc=Philadelphia,+PA

There are tons of places in Chinatown, but I don't know the names of the stores (just by location) There is one on 9th I've been to. I've also been to Ken Shin and Euphoria in Northern Liberties.
Walk up and down Chinatown, you will find a ton of places selling it.. but it may be called boba instead of bubble tea.

Yep. that would be dd, she has the aquired taste of the different. :flower3:
I am not sure she has tried white tea. The boxes here fall down on your head. When I went to grab a coffee mug I fould a shelf that had been taken over with boxes of tea.

Me I like my Earl Gray, hot and Turkey hill diet green tea. All the Vanilla flavor or Chamiolle, etc, are not my personal "cup of tea." :hippie:

We differ like night and day; I like Yankee Candles; in the cookie baking scents, or Home style, she wants to burn incense with pugent Jasmine wafting through out.
:confused3

I don't know where you are in NE PA, but there's a big Japanese store on the Hudson River. It's called Mitsuwa and it's in Edgewater. I don't know if they'd have bubble tea, but there are a lot of restaurants and shops there. I'm sure she'd have a great time!

Apparently, bubble tea is no longer at Epcot :( We went to both China and Japan (just to check) and everyone said they didn't have it. We were kinda bummed. Oh well!

Now I don't feel so bad that when we were there 2 weeks back I did not see it on the menu, if it was not on the sign, I did not oversite it.
We will be going to overnight to Phila and local area soon, I will make sure we check it out.

Scranton Wilkes Barre area is slim pickin's on the Asian food mrkts. Thanks for the heads up were to look.

Yes they have Bubble Tea! Sold near the center of the store, near the car stuff of all places. It's strange, but my teenager liked it. We were just there a couple weeks ago. It's a fun place.

If you're going all the way to Edgewater, might as well come into the city and get yer tea, it's literally like 10 minutes away, heh.
