This restaurant is rustic and the food is delicious

Here is the Dessrt that gave Carol a Heart Attack last year she was convinced he would set himself on fire

After we will head to Shepherd's Park for the Opening Cermonies,

A Sample of the many Inpersonators , none of which were Carol's Elvis !!!!

After that we will head back to Wingate for a good nights rest , ready for the next day and the start of the Competitions . Will Carol make her selection from the tightness of their pants this year too !!!

Okay Here is is again!! Carol ,my usual partner is going with ME on all 4 trips, Carole with anE is going to Lake George with another escort and we are trying to arrange a second group for Disney in the Fall . It mat be switched to September for Disney for both groups and Universal for Me an Carol in October .
I have the list of Guys going to Lake George and one is a repeat. He was great so no problems there . This is the first time we have had a repeat, although the same ones go each year and we get to see them . Our group looks okay from the prelimanary check thru, but I know from experience that the applications do not always tell the whole storyBut Carol and I have a great system and work soooo well together we can handle all !!

So there IS an "E" on the end of one of them!!!! Now if we can just get you not to try and impersonate Dan when you spell them, I just might eventually figure this thing out.........by the time you return!!!

So glad Carol is getting to go after all! I guess that means things with her Mom are good enough to allow her to feel comfortable planning to go.....

So for Lake George we have 3 gals and 5 guys !!! As one of the Gals is married she will share with her husband and Carol and I get one each!! I let Carol pick and if history repeats I will get the TALKER

And I bet the TALKER is already thinking......Oh crap, I bet I get stuck with ROSIE again!!! That woman NEVER shuts up!!!

I missed you Marv!! Carol's Mom is okayish , is about the best I get !Her platelets are up a litlle hovering between 3 and 7 , the shot she gets 3 times aweek takes 2 to 3 months to work fully so it is still to soon to know if it is working !!Carol goes down there every weekend like Friday to Monday and takes work with her so it is lessoning the hours she has to take off !!She said she has enough for both Lake George and Cape Cod so I am back to planning !!

That is only a VERY small sampling of themThey come from Canada , all over the States and even at least one is from one of those Oil countries What I like is sooo many of them are really nice to our people , pose with them even give them gifts !! It is awsome to see them lighr up with a simple ring or do d ad from Elvis !!

I talked to Patti from P&P today !! She has booked our Cape Cod Hotel, we are staying at the one that was described as not as nice as The Comfort Inn but has a HOT breakfast and I let Carol pick and she wanted a hot breakfast!!I think we will have handicapped accessible bathrooms , not sure why that si important but Patti seemed to think it was !!We will all be on the same floor and I will double check that before we leave !!That IS important !!!
I am gonna try to get up pix for our Lake George Trip later tonight , but Cape Cod is a new ADVENTURE!!!

Can you choose a different hotel? It has terrible reviews on trip advsior...more bad than good! Oh, Rosie - this place is awful!! Can you call patti and ask her to switch? What is the other option???

There were no reports filed but a review did say there were some !!The Comfort Inn does have a report though sooooo who knows I will double check the beds carefully and spray with OFF !!

It has 73 terrible and only 33 good reviews!!! Sounds kind of creepy. You are so brave!! (I am a wimp)

Of course the BB registry only has a hotel if a guest reports it and most guests do not even know about the registry...they just go home. I would be scared because of all the negative reviews, but if you are comfortable that's what counts!!

I'm going to PRAY it turns out fine!!

The Other was the Comfort Inn !!They stayed there last year and said the Comfort was a nicer hotel !!! I will give Patti a call and ask her tomorrow !!In fact I may check out some others too as Comfort Inn is ON the registry !!

Rosie, the Comfort Inn has much better reviews!! I'd go with that and ask Patti to call to check on the bedbug issue and make sure the room have been treated. The other one had BB too, but the reviews are so bad, I would be afraid they did not treat for the things.

I found out why the handicapped accessible bathroom !!!They had Jacuzzis last year and that was a bit of a problem for the guys to get intoI read other reviews that were not as bad !! Some from people who had stayed there numerous times !! So I think we will just take our chances and will sure give P&P a very accurate report. At least at Disney I know what to expect !!
