Rosie, the other night we went to our local minor league ballpark and discovered that it was....

Elvis night!

I'm wondering if this guy is one of the many Elvis's you've met in your travels? (The one on the right. )

We didn't get to see him perform because a couple of innings later the weather changed dramatically, and it poured....

I don't know if he ended up performing or not because we headed home when it let up enough to run for the car.

But anyway, just wondering if you've met this guy before.

The baseball team's website says that he was Bob Lougheed and the Mystery Train band.

PB is again giving me trouble soooo I will tell you the DRAMA and post pix later !!! This morning after checking out we went to Millcreek Mall and then for one last visit to the Beaches at Presque Isle , after searching a couple of them we found the one we remembered from our last visit . Kyle played on the jungle gym and checked out the fishing and then all 3 of them climbed aboard an old firetruck that was decorated with flower pots and old bike rims etc and labelled with something about recycling, several little kids were on it too. The girls climbed up front and made believe they were driving , then Kyle gets in the driving seat , now temember this is an old truck for kids to play on .... Next thing we hear and see is SMIKE and the dang engine running Judy and I are like PMG what we do , yelling KYLE don't touch anything else , an older gent came to the rescue his wife said he was a retired fireman and he managed to turn it off ! Everyone was shocked that they would have a working truck that kids could play on , but Kyle is mechanical and he knew to pull out the ignition and press the start button which was all he did , not thinking it would work So when I get the pix uploaded you will see why no one wood expect this !!So Rosie once again has DRAMA!!!

When was the Lake George Elvis convention-thing?

Not sure of the name but some of them have professional names also The Lake George Festival is usually the weekend after Memorial Day. Usually starts i=on the Thursday and runs till sunday but next year it is the 10th aniversary and is gonna be longer I think we will just go the usual 4 nights though !!!

I've been to the Millcreek Mall several times. Used to go there to get away from studying when I went to the Behrend branch campus of PSU.

The girls LOVED the Mall and NO Tax on clthes , more to come on that!!

The Erie TR

Started out Friday Morning , mounted the Car carrier on top of vehicle , I recall hiding in my room during this process as the air was shall we say HOT!!!!

Loaded up and headed out !!!Construction on the I 90 was horrendous and caused delays , which heated up the tempers of all , but we perserved and finallyarrived

We were able to check in early and then took a dip in the pool and languished in the Hot Tub!! That was pure heaven!!!

Then we went to the Millcreek Mall , where the girls were in awe of NO tax on clothes and in love with a store called Vanity, which they found 5 Tops ,all on sale and NO tax , meanwhile Kyle had found something of interest
