The last day of our upcoming trip is November 20th and we plan to be in EP. However, I would like to get over to MK at some point to ride BTMRR (I believe it opens from refurb on the 19th?). I will probably schedule our FP+ for EP, but can't decide whether to hit MK at rope drop for BTMRR and then hop over to EP, or do EP first and then take a chance on a 4th FP for BTMRR or just plan on riding standby. It would probably be after lunch before we made it to MK if we do the latter. Any suggestions?

Do MK at rope drop since BTM is your priority.

I would probably do what others have suggested in this situation. However, with the tiers on fastpasses at Epcot, you might be in for some long waits once you get to Epcot if you want to ride Test Track, Soarin', and FEA. An alternative option would be to go to Epcot for rope drop, ride a couple of Tier 1 attractions on standby, use your Tier 1 fastpass early in the day, then change your other 2 fastpasses to BTMRR and something else at MK for later in the day. It has been our experience that we really only need our Tier 1 fastpass at Epcot. Things on the Tier 2 list either have not interested us or have had relatively short standby times.

On our last trip (before FEA was open), we rope dropped Test Track and had a 9:30 fastpass for Soarin'. As soon as we scanned our bands in the Fastpass line on Soarin', we changed our remaining 2 fastpasses to things at MK for late afternoon.

This would give you better odds than hoping for 4th fastpass availability later in the day.
