BTMRR at rope drop??

We ALWAYS hit adventure/ frontier lands at rope drop, while everyone else runs the other way. We Can get 3 or so rides on BTMRR in, hit pirates and jungle cruise and haunted mansion before anything has a significant wait. We usually get everything we want to do in the first 90 min.

I agree with the other posts. Usually BTMRR can be ridden several times within the first hour.

This really does sound amazing!!

We are planning on heading this way in early June. Right now park opens at 9... our plan is (me, DH, DD5, DS6) is:
Jungle
Aladdin's Carpet
Meet Aladdin and Jasmine at 9:30
Pirates
Thunder with FP
Splash with FP

Do you think we need FP for Thunder/Splash at like 10:00? I was thinking if we got there and the line was shortish (prob under 15 min) we could either ride twice, once with and once without or just switch the FP to a later ride. Our 3rd FP wouldn't until like 2-3PM Tomorrowland Speedway...

I know this isn't necessarily the "most efficient" order of things with Aladdin's Carpet as the second ride... but we are also trying to minimize walking and unshaded lines.

It depends on when you were going. You will already be at the Hub at rope drop, I think I would do Splah, BTMRR first with no FP, then Aladdin/Jasmine pics, Jungle, Pirates and then Carpets. Carpets is covered and I have never seen a wait over 20min before 10-11am.

Then I would cross the Breezeway to Liberty Square and do Haunted Mansion (I prefer the non Fastpass line) and then have FP starting around noon for Peter, Mine, and either Space, Pooh, or Speedway. Each FP has to be an hour apart and between those you could do various things close by like lunch at Columbia, Small World, Philharmagic, Teacups, Little Mermaid, Gaston, etc. Try and get a 4th FP in Tomorrowland.

Thanks! I didnt know carpets was covered... that's good to know. I didn't mention after that we are planning on going to Tom Sawyers island... either before or after lunch, depending on timing. So I was thinking like a 9:15-10:15 BTMRR and a 10:15-11:15 splash. Or maybe starting at 9:30. My thought was we'd get to Thunder at like 10 or so... ride and by the time we were done, it'd be about time for the splash window to open. We'd have a short (15-20 min) snack break at some point too.

I have mine a lot like your plan. I've read Jungle is the one where the lines build fastest so I think doing that as one of the first ones is a good idea. I had Aladdin there bc of passing it by and my kids throwing down...lol...to ride it since they are too small (little one) or too scared (medium sized one) for BTMRR.

We are early June, too. This is our first MK day (Sun 6/4). Last year they opened at 8 most of that first week (change came mid-May) so we'll need to watch for that.

Are you sure A&J meet that early? I might add that to my list if they do.

This makes me so happy! Our plan is to actually watch the new show and then go straight to BTMRR - it's one of my favorite rides anywhere and I want to be able to ride more then once! Woo hoo! What's the best way to get from the show to the ride?

This is our plan for 6/4 too! According to Kenny the Pirate they start meeting at 9:30 and lining up right before their set is the quickest way to see them, so that's our plan. We have a 7AM chef Mickey ADR but yeah... I was also thinking they might bump opening to 8. I doubt we'd get there by 8, but maybe 8:30. If that happens... we will prob be able to do pirates and then meet Aladdin... or if the timing doesn't gel, we'll skip the meet.

I didn't even realize who I was replying to...lol. Sorry about that. Looks like we need to schedule a mini meet up since we will be in the same area! ;)

We have a 10:30 ADR at Crystal Palace so we do have a bit of a time crunch. But if the park opens at 8, I will probably add the meet in, if it works out that we are in that specific area right before 9:30. I have a KtP subscription but I haven't looked too much at it because I am afraid it will change before our trip. However, I sort of need to look at it to get a loose plan, at the latest right before FP day.
