We stayed there about 5 years ago. Friend's of ours had a timeshare and traded points (I believe) to get a room there. We (4 adult, 2 kids) were in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. It was clean, roomy...and no frills. At the time they were working on the pool area so I am not sure how much it has changed...but it was sufficient for what we needed at the time. It also had a hot tub. There was not any food type establishment there, nor do I remember seeing a little store. BUT- you are right on a main strip where there is everything. It only took us about 10 minutes to get in/out of Disney property.
