The cast: just me and my dh, Greg. (me 50'ish, him late 40's). Newlyweds, just married April 1, 2001.

Having gotten in sorta late from the Bruce concert, and having issued an "I'm sleeping till 9" edict, we got up around 9:30, got dressed and had breakfast at Boatwrights (the full service restaurant in PO-R). I had the baguette french toast - mmmmm - I recommend this!

The weather was lovely (around 74 degrees), we took the bus to EPCOT. Went to the Living Seas and wandered around there a while (I still miss the little ride, whatever happened to that?). Then we meandered over to The Land and did that ride, then we did a little more meandering around the countries. Then we took the bus back to PO-R. A very nice, relaxing visit to EPCOT. (FYI - we've been there numerous time, just taking it easy this time.)

We freshened up and took the resort boat to Downtown Disney, then took the shuttle boat from Downtown Disney to the West Side (I never knew there was a shuttle boat - a good idea!). We had tickets to Cirque du Soleil. What a great show! I had no idea what to expect, I was surprised at the humor in it, they always seem so serious to me in the in-room on-tv previews they show. Amazing acrobats, everything was amazing, and you just didn't know which way to look, things going on all over!

When we got out, it had gotten COLD!!! It was a little chilly going to Downtown, I had on a long-sleeve shirt with a light sweatshirt over it - not enough! We took the shuttle back to Downtown (by then I was really cold). Time for dinner, we ate at Fulton's Crab House - had seafood chowder, I had the crab claws, Greg had the tuna. Both were excellent! We were (unfortunately) too full for dessert. As Disney Club members, we were entitled to two wine glasses, which we got with no trouble at all, a nice souveigneer (sp?)

Then we took the boat back to PO-R (why, I now ask myself, a bus would've been sooo much warmer). It was cold and windy!!!!

But, all in all, a really nice day.

bottom line, see Cirque if you can! Unfortunately, it's so expensive, hard for families to afford.

I never knew there was a shuttle boat either. Thanks for that great tip. :)
