Brussels sprouts are the debil
Agree.
This thread full of veggie lovin' aliens.
Brussels sprouts are the debil
Is fries another word for America?![]()
My wife made these just tonight for dinner. You could put a gun to my head and tell me to eat brussel sprouts and.... scratch that. You could put a gun to my first born child's head and tell me to eat brussel sprouts and I wouldn't be able to choke them down. Why have I never thought of roasting brussel sprouts? Yummo!
There is no way I will eat brussel sprouts. I must have had a really bad experience with them when I was a kid. I can eat cooked cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli - but brussel sprouts! - no way!
I know that my mom overcooked veggies, so that's part of it.
I would go for the fries but then again brussels give me bad wind not good for my fellow workers.Still hungry after my lunch.
Looked up some sides in the cafeteria today:

I guess I'm getting the Brussel sprouts . . . (but I really wanted the fries!)![]()
While Brussels sprouts are low in calories, they are NOT that low in calories. Something wrong with the posted numbers. A cup of Brussels sprouts (150 grams) has 65 calories with no added fat, and virtually none of those calories coming from fat. So, saying that 205 grams has 11 calories, all from fat, is just wrong. Still, they are a MUCH better choice than the fries.
