I have just booked a weekend with a few girlsfriends at Disney. Of course I have been there many times, but I have never ate at the California Grille ( kids prefer Chef Mickeys's, but mom is going w/the kids this time!!)

My friend told me they have a brunch that the resturant, but I can't find a menu anywhere..

Anybody have the scoop?

Thanks!

I want to think that there might have been at one point in time, but not now. It's a great idea, I wish that WDW would have a true Sunday champagne brunch someplace--Citrico's or the CG would probably be the best choices.

In the meantime if you have a car, I highly reccomend the Sunday brunch at the Peabody. Time it so you can see the ducks march. Excellent food and service.

There was, in fact, a Sunday brunch at what is now the CG. I don't know when it went away, but we had brunch there sometime in the 80's. I suppose the breakfast buffets are more or less brunch.

I have heard good things about the gospel brunch at House of Blues. Not especially reminiscent of CG, but ...

Unfortunately, there is no brunch at the Grille. I wish there was though!

As Micca said when the restaurant was Top of the World they did offer Sunday brunch. There were also brunches at Papeete Bay, Lake Buena Vista Club and the Trophy Room at the Golf Resort. The latter two were "champagne" brunches although you could order drinks at the former as I recall.

When CG first opened they did serve lunch. We enjoyed stopping there after a morning at the MK. The menu was similar to dinner as I recall.

In a way, yes. but I'd love to have a true Sunday champagne brunch. I'll bet it would do pretty well if they marketed it right. I can guarantee DH and I would be there on every trip!
