We did not have brunch there but we did have dinner there 2 times during our stay in April. We really enjoyed it, the food was good both times and our service the first time was outstanding (the 2nd not so great). It was also extremely nice that it was right at CSR where we were staying and we never had ADRs just walked up.
Based on my experience I would try the brunch.

We've only done breakfast at Maya Grill twice in our seven stays, but we enjoyed it both times. It is basically your typical buffet. DH loved that they had a huge variety of fruit; he likes to eat all of his breakfast foods and then have a big bowl of fruit (then we can skip lunch).
