I am thinking a Sunday brunch would be nice while we are there. It will just be dh and myself but we don't really want to dress up. Anyone have recommendations? I found a list of resturants but would like some personal experiences.

TIA.

The absolute best place for breakfast is Signe's, IMHO. It's a small, local place. You go up to the counter to order, but they bring your food out to you. They don't have alcoholic beverages, in case you were looking forward to a mimosa or bloody Mary. ;) Depending on when you go, there could be a very long line, as well. I've heard stories of people waiting for an hour to get in! But it's worth it! (We usually go in the off season so that we don't have to wait as long)

If you're looking for a more traditional brunch buffet, we've done the one at the Westin. You don't have to get really dressed up for it, but I don't think that swimwear or flip-flops are allowed. I believe there is also a brunch like this at the Marriott and perhaps the Crowne Plaza and/or Holiday Inn.

I have heard that the Sunday brunch at the Old Fort Pub is great. For Easter this year, we went to the Ocean Grille (right across the marina from the resort). I believe they are both table service (order from a menu) and require a more dressy attire.

I'm sure there are lots more options. Be sure to pick up a copy of the restaurant guide with the menus in it!

Thanks! We are going May 17th - May 20th for our 10 year wedding anniversary.

This is the list of of Sunday Brunch resturants I found.

Signe's is closed on Sundays. :sad1:

We've enjoyed the brunch at the Hilton, but maybe that is just for holidays??? Not sure.

I really enjoy eating at Kenny B's, very casual, good food with a Cajun twist. They even have wonderful beignets. That place can fill up quickly though (it's pretty small).

Wow, I never realized that Signe's is closed on Sunday! We always thought that because it's such a great breakfast place, it would be absolutely impossible to get into on a Sunday. :sad2: Good to know this. Thanks, dis-happy!

I guess the best thing is to just figure out what type of brunch you want to go to and pick one. With so many choices, I'm sure you'll be able to find a place you like!

Yes, thanks for the info-we're also fans of Signe's and didn't know it was closed on Sundays. Wow, an hour wait to get in-guess we've been lucky then! Does anyone have any more info about the Old Fort Pub Sunday Brunch?
