BRRRRR Its Cold Out There

Oh man, my sympathies. My maid of honor forced me (haha) to wear a sleeveless dress because she "didn't want to hear me b****ing all day about being hot!" So they had short sleeves, and we had an unseasonably cool day in June and you can see her shivering on the video! LOL

I can't think of any sort of specific look right off hand, but maybe you can figure out some sort of wrap/shawl/shrug that would work, even if you just wear it in between photos. But maybe in the sun, you'll be fine!!! Congrats and aloha :)

I'm the BRIDE!

That's what I thought....seriously, look on Pinterest! There are some creative folks out there! Maybe you can find something even if you don't wear it during portraits and the actual ceremony. Good luck; I know it will be magical no matter what!!!!

Look at plumeria, frangipani, or Hawaiian shawl, wrap, and/or crochet. Some ideas....

There is a silver lining. *IF* we are relocated the Wedding Pavilion is a possibility.

CORRECTION: backup location is Citricos. Never been and not to been on this idea.

My sister and her family arrived this morning from Texas. They left Houston's 28 degree low temperature so thank goodness they wore their "heavy" coats. In the words of my niece-in-law, "It's FREAKING COLD here"! :rotfl: 15-20 mph winds make the wind chill temperature VERY uncomfortable and, as a previous poster said, it's a "damp cold". Florida "cold" is like Texas "cold"; factor in humidity and the cold IS different. With that said, a friend from West Palm Beach will be running the Dopey Marathon from Thursday-Sunday. Predicted temperatures during early morning hours when he'll need to catch the bus to starting site is high 20's, low 30's all 4 days (also POSSIBLE snow flurries tomorrow ...Wednesday)...

He said a few years ago they experienced the same low temperatures and the water areas during the race actually had ice on the ground where runners had spilled water. Normal temperatures during the Dopey Marathon would be 50's-60's so it IS much cooler than normal for the Orlando area. :tink:

That's correct! The correct answer is, REALLY cold!!!

Today we shall have ZERO C degree weather so the 8" of snow should melt into ice sculpture... FUN!

Yikes! Forget my wedding dress, all my super cute park outfits are now obsolete. Lol.

We are here now and from Chicago. I thought 50s would be great compared to the negative temps in Chicago but it really is cold when you are outside all day. A sweatshirt just isn’t cutting it. Layers, hats and gloves are needed

Yeah, Disney cold is usually damp and breezy which makes it feel a lot colder than it really is. Especially with being out in the elements all day, it's just not pleasant at all!

Nope, not pleasant at all when you're out outside a large portion of the day. Everyone that enjoys it is welcome to it. Yes, I know what very low temps up north are, also know what I'm in right now - 9* - 29*. But, I'm inside and not trying to enjoy myself freezing.

Will not intentionally go to Disney with the temps they're having this week. Was there once by surprise Dec '10, and left early. We will cancel first - to each their own!!
