I've never eaten at Mama Rosa's but we're thinking of doing the Fantasmic Package in Dec. I just don't see how you can screw up pasta. From those who have eaten there and disliked it, please tell why.

We did not like it one bit. I had the penne with vodka sauce. Basically it was penne with marinara sauce and 10 pounds of salt. I think I drank 2 gallons of water that night after eating that.

We hated our experience at MM's. The pasta was like mush. The sauce was undercooked and gave all of us heart burn. The service was horrible and bordered on down right rude at times. We will never go back and my family loves Italian food. Guess we'll just have to eat mommy's Italian.

You'll be OK as long as you're not expecting any more than Olive Garden type quality.

My fam and I are another that don't like MM. They really don't have just simple pasta, I love a good marinara, but they didn't have that. All the dishes we ordered were just ok, with the exception of the artesian bread appetizer which was excellent (assorted breads and dips). It is the first Italian restaurant that I've been to that didn't include bread with the meal.

Now BD, it is my fav disney restaurant (although I've never tried V & A, but most others). I've been there 4 times, and all aspects were excellent each time.

I am bummed out after reading all of this. My family is going to be at OKW for 10 days in April and we have ADRs for MM one night for dinner. The ADRs are for 10 of us so it is too late to find anything else. I am crossing my fingers that MM pulls through here and we all have a nice Italian dinner.

Does anyone have any more nice things to say about MM?

Don't worry about it. Go and have a good time. We read all the same sorts of things before we went, and we really enjoyed our meal. Don't expect it to be the best Italian food you have ever eaten though.

Keep in mind that these forums are not statistically valid polls, and the nays are more likely to post than the yeas. I bet there is not a restaurant on the planet that you cannot find a complaint about, even if most enjoy it.
