Brown Derby Thanksgiving

They may add a special but I don’t recall an entire menu dedicated to Thanksgiving. Eaten there during a holiday but can’t remember if it was T Day or in December but be forewarned. Management has been known to severely overbook ADRs. You won’t go home hungry but it might take several hours to get back there.

We have done Thanksgiving dinner at Boma a few times and they had a nice mix of Thanksgiving food and their regular stuff.

thank you all. I did see the past year ones just thought since the adr's are coming up something would be out?

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but given that WDW is an international destination, I'd never WANT them to do all so-called "traditional" Thanksgiving (if it was true traditional it would be more like seal, venison, nuts, berries, root vegetables, and corn - not turkey and dressing). Offer a plate if they must. Or if you really must 100% have turkey and dressing and such plan on Liberty Tree Tavern.

We went last year, arrived on the actual US Thanksgiving day (as noted above, it's not Thanksgiving for everyone! We're from Canada and ours is in October) I watched menus right up until the day we left home and only found the occasional mention. Once we arrived we discovered that every single restaurant, including the food courts had a turkey dinner ONLY THAT DAY we ate at ale and compass and that's what hubby had but he was underwhelmed. It was late and had obviously been in the steam trays for a long time. It was offered as well as the regular menu.

Just started thinking about where might be a good spot for Thanksgiving dinner, besides in the room. lol
I’m guessing any place that is normally good would be a good choice?
Seems like most of the places at AKL would be great, maybe WL, what else might you all suggest?

BTW, Brown Derby sounds good too!!

What do you mean it's an international destination? It's in the US, with mostly US visitors. And they mostly like bland food with lot of starch and sugar. So Thanksgiving meal is perfect. Plus if they get shut out of LTT at least they can get some traditional food at other places.

If they serve seal it has to be in some sort of egg roll vehicle.

I'm not sure what the numbers are, but I know I noticed a huge difference from DisneyIand in SoCal, many more international visitors, in SoCal I mostly just hear Spanish speaking, in WDW I heard so many languages I was really surprised it was so many. (from Italian, to French to some I'm not sure what they were)

Yes of course the Disney parks are international destinations. The prior poster probably just didn’t understand what you meant 🙂.

They actually weren't talking to me, I just responded because I felt such a difference between the two parks, but yes I agree they are both most definitely international destinations.
