Has anyone heard the rumor about the Brown Derby restuarant closing?

I haven't heard such a rumor.

I have to believe that the Brown Derby at Disney-MGM is doing well. It has a great location at park, and the theme works perfectly.

Of course, if a restaurant company offered more in rent than Disney currently makes in profit from the Brown Derby, then I would see the possibility of an outside company taking over the location.

I don't expect that to happen. And I hope it doesn't happen.

Finally, I could see Disney changing the name if there is an expiring licensing agreement to use the Brown Derby name, and the trademark owners want too much money.

I did not hear about Brown Derby but the restaurant guide book I got said that Mama Melrose would be re-themed and re-named. Is this something that everyone knows? I wanted to book it for the Fantasmic Package in October and wondered if it would still be open?
