Brown Derby or Le Cellier

We are planning a trip in September with the dining plan. On our last trip we really enjoyed dining at Le Cellier, however I notice it is now 2 credits for dinner. I am wondering if we would be better off skipping Le Cellier this time and doing the Fantasmic Package at Brown Derby instead. We have never eaten at Brown Derby. Does anyone have any preference between the two?

I've never eaten at Le Cellier but we really enjoyed our meal at the Brown Derby. The tables are a little close together, if you go there and your party is big enough, request a booth. They don't have many of them but you might get lucky.

I'd skip Le Cell. We enjoyed it but we figure eating at Boma and Ohana for one credit instead of Cell is great value. Two meals or one? I'd go Hollywood and Vine if you want F! package, I'm pretty sure it's just one credit. We liked the food (buffet) and the decor and service were super.

For us nothing beats Ohana though.

I really liked Brown Derby...if the dinner menu didn't change at LeCellier for it being 2 DDP credits now... I'd definitely stick with Brown Derby. No wait to be seated, better food, and you get the fantasmic package. with the package, appetizers are included at Brown Derby even if you are not on the deluxe DDP. We have eaten at both and enjoy them. If you are interested grab lunch at Le Cellier...it is only 1 TS for lunch.

Brown Derby with the Fantasmic Pkg is good. We are doing that again this spring when we go. I would recommend avoiding Hollywood and Vine. We went once and swore we would never return. If you want a Fantasmic Pkg for only 1 TS I would suggest Mama Melrose.

I prefer HBD but I don't think it's a good use of 2TS on the dining plan.

If you can do both, I would.

LeCellier is 1 credit for lunch so that is a good value and Brown Derby is a great place for dinner.

I always try to grab the Brown Derby when securing the F! package.

Both are good, but I would definitely say Brown Derby is better. Even for steak, the 8oz Filet at HBD is much better than any steak at Le Cellier.

Frankly, I wouldn't spend 2 credits for either. I happened to eat at both on my trip in December, 1 day apart. So I got a very clear comparison. I liked Le Cellier a little better, but both had fantastic steaks.

But, I don't think any food at Disney is worth 2 table services and so I would recommend Le Cellier at lunch time. I do think the Hoop Dee Doo and Luau are definitely worth 2.

We did NOT feel our dinner at Brown Derby was as good as our LeCellier dinner or worth the money we paid, OOP.
Eaten 3/4 times at LeCellier and it has ALWAYS been good.

We enjoy Le Cellier MUCH more than HBD. I will never eat at HBD again--it was overpriced, the food was just so-so and the service was terrible. We've always enjoyed Le Cellier.

I was going to say Le Cellier but for the cost and because I love Fantasmic so much try something new!
