6:30ish reservation...prior to Fantasmic! Which is best with a 8 yr old (wanna be tween princess)? We will probably get to the park after about 4pm to do some touring before dinner. Thanks for helping!

I haven't been to H&V but probably never will as it seems to get the worst reviews! We really enjoyed BD- our food and the service were excellent. Its a "signature" and theres nothing really exciting for kids, but I think you would enjoy the food there better. There aren't any characters at H&V for dinner (and the ones for lunch and bfast might be a bit youngish for your DD) so I don't know that theres anything that would make H&V more appealing.

PS- Do you know the time for fantasmic that night? I'd allow at least 1.5 hours for dinner, esp. at BD (H&V might be faster since its buffet) and it is recommended that you arrive to F! 30-45 minutes early. Depending on the show time, you might want to do an earlier dinner.

Thanks...that was my inclination as well, but wanted to get some practical advice from someone who new more than I (and that is not much!).

The show starts at 9pm that night...so I'm guessing a 6:30 reservation would get us out in time to catch a spot at the theater. No more passes are available for the special seating at this late date for the the May 3 show....unless somebody know a secret that I don't know! Thanks for helping.
