Brown Derby info please

Our next trip I have booked Brown Derby Fantasmic! Dinner Package for dinner for the first time. We are using the dinning plan this trip and I thought I read before it was a 2 credit meal, but I am having trouble confirming this. I booked online so didn't speak with a cast member. If anyone who has been there remembers and could let me know that would be great. I haven't used all my credits yet for reservations, but would like to know how many I have left for more bookings.

Yes- the Brown Derby is a 2 credit meal- with or without fantasmic booking.

Agree 100%... Much less variety, much smaller portions, much higher price.

I did that in may with my family and wasnt so thrilled. My DH luved the food but it was a bit too rich for me.

The desserts are a selection of 3 mini desserts that each adult chooses from the menu.

I thought the three mini desserts were great. I loved the opportunity to try three different things and thought combined it was more than enough dessert. Desserts elsewhere were often too much.

Now that makes sense... As I had the "mini" grapefruit cake off the truck at the west side.

The problem is this mini dessert trend is bad. Not because in a glutton - because the mini dessert craze has allowed restaurant to mass produce/ freeze/ thaw desserts more than ever before.

This really hurts brown derby for me...as the grapefruit cake was far better as an actual cake... There was a delicate icing/cake mix to it that the mini doesn't have

Our past 2 fantasmic package meals at Brown Derby, they allowed us to get the regular slice of grapefruit cake for dessert instead of the mini dessert. Just have to ask nicely

2 credits. It's also one of the only 2 credit restaurants open for lunch. Fulton's and Le Cellier are the other 2. Helpful if you are on the deluxe plan with credits to use up. That's really the only time we eat there. The last 2 visits were awful. We aren't going at all this year. I do love the little outdoor lounge patio though.

We were not able to choose our mini dessert sampler last November. The FDP menu stated the three selections available and the server said no substitution was possible.

But would you really consider CRT a signature restaurant? I wouldn't. Its kind of in its own category, like BOG breakfast/ lunch ADRs, even though its CS.
