I understand that you can eat lunch in the the Studio now and still get your preferred Fantasmic seating ticket. Lunch works better for my family. Quick question...is there a minimum charge at Brown Derby? My kids would eat off the regular menu (7 and 9 so proud they love good food!). Maybe each have an app and share an entree. I see prices posted for buffet etc at Hollywood and Vine/Mama Melrose but just see regular menu for Brown Derby. Anyone know what the policy is?? TIA for any replies.

It's still a fixed price to do the F! package at the Brown Derby- here's the wdwinfo page on that -

At both Brown Derby and Mama Melrose you pay a fixed price but order from the menu (I don't know what the limitations might be on what you can order) and a Hollywood & Vine you pay a fixed price, but it's a buffet.

Yes - DS and I did HDB F! Dinner package at 4:15p on May 13th...

I highly recommend the F! package.... have tried H&V, and now HDB.... THe food wasn't anything I would rave about... BUT I would like to go back and try other options...

I had forgotten... but the waiter reminded me... it was a fixed price... (I think $39 each/both adults).

We both received an appetizer, entree, dessert and drinks.

I had the crabcake, filet, and grapefruit cake. DS had the tuna, chicken and a toffee/banana type dessert that he LOVED...

As mentioned... I WOULD try HBD again...Just didn't "wow" us this last visit...

Hugs,
Mary

We ate at HBD last year for the Fant. package on my birthday. Not only did we get apps, entree, drink and dessert, they also brought a dessert for us to celebrate my day! :cool1: Way too much food. The party next to us asked if they could pick up their dessert later and were told the desserts would be waiting for them in to-go boxes after Fantasmic! It didn't sound as if they frequently offered that service but it was nice to know they would do it if asked.
