Brown Derby Fixed Price

Made our ADRs this morning and we've got a Fantasmic package at the Brown Derby for 5:20 pm. With the fixed price, does that also mean a special fixed price menu or can you order what you want from the usual menu? In other words, are you locked in to a specific appetizer, soup/salad, main course and dessert?

What's the fixed price, may I ask? We're getting the Fantasmic package w/the Brown Derby, too, and I wasn't told anything about a fixed price. We're on the dining plan, but that wouldn't make a difference, would it?

I'm guessing that you're ok with the dining plan. Otherwise, we pay @ $46 (adult) and $11 (child) for dinner with Fantasmic seating. This eliminates people paying only for a salad and getting Fantasmic seating as well.

We did the Brown Derby w/ the Fanrasmic Pkg on our last trip & you could order anything of the regular menu. We paid OOP for this one instead of blowing 2TS credits from the dining plan. The only difference we were told is that we weren't entitled to certain drinks such as smoothies or milkshakes as our beverage, only soda, coffee, or tea since we weren't using the dining plan. They also do not honor the DDE card for the Fantasmic Pkg. If you have small children, the fantasmic pkg is definitely worth getting.

Wife and I did Fantasmic package at Brown Derby back in October. It was totally worth it. We paid OOP, but it really wasn't that bad in price (something like $45 pp) considering that we got appetizer, entree, and dessert. The Cobb Salad there is particularly awesome; I would make a point of getting that as an appetizer or for entree. We selected from the regular menu. We were on our honeymoon, and since the dessert was included in the price, they brought us champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries. All in all a great experience... and the show was good too!
