I've booked the Brown Derby Fantasmic Pkg for 5:30 at night on 4/7/08. I've noticed looking at other posts that most dinners are starting much earlier. Has anyone had the Fantasmic pkg & eaten at that time. MGM closes at 8:30 that night. Should I call dining or am I worried about nothing. :confused3

Thanks for your help. :goodvibes

The dinner times for Fnatasmic Packages are usually 3:30 to 4:30 or 5:30 pm depending on the time of year.

I would recheck if it makes you more comfortable but to tell you the truth, I would prefer the later dining time. I believe that they start with the early spots and open up the later times if needed.. at least that was my experience in the past.

I would not change it if it allows you time to get there and to sit in the reserved spots for the dinner package.. dining later I think is better...

If your dinner is at 5:30 and fantasmic is 8:30 then you have plenty of time:goodvibes Turn up about 15 minutes early so you definatly get seated on time, dinner should take about an hour, and you don't need to be at Oscars (where you go to get in with your package voucher) till 7:30pm, see, plenty of wiggle room:thumbsup2

You'll have plenty of time. We had ressie's for that exact time and had more then enough time to waste in between.

you're fine. Usually, you eat early and spend several hours touring before the show

Thanks everyone! I feel much better now. I too like the idea of waiting to eat until 5:30 so we can go around the park more.

This is the first time I will be back since I was in college over 20 years ago. It's taken me 20 years to convince my husband that Florida is not too hot and he will love DW. (I know he will, who doesn't)

My 15 year old daughter is really looking forward to it. We are having the best time looking over guides together to figure out what we want to do.

You're all the best for planning an unforgetable trip. :goodvibes

Thanks again. :cutie:
