Have you done the Brown and Derby for the Fant. dinner package?? I have done h&v and would like to try this. wdw told me last (early)fall that this package is 36.99 per adult and is a meal--app/main meal/dessert

opinions??

We are doing this package during our trip in March. I was wondering if you got to select anything off the menu for the package price. Does anyone know?

The Brown Derby has really good food. The Cobb salad is the most "famous" and enough to feed at least 2 people. It is also where you can possibly see a celebrity. We sat next to Terry Garr once back in the late 90s.

:cool2:

from my understanding you get a selection and the 36.99 covers if you order the top $$ meal. I was hesitate about this last time but I would really like to try. . .It is suppose to be a multi-course meal, so definitely eat light!! Has anyone done this?????

My Mom and I did this May 2004 and are doing it again this May!

I loved it you paid $36.99 and you got to choose from the entrees, the appitizers, and the desserts. You also got a soft Drink included. It was some of the best food I have eaten so far in My life the only thing at Disney that had topped it was California Grill on my actual birthday for wishes.

My mom and I had the Filet Mignion, I had the cobb salad, (i can't remember what my mom had for appetizer) and for dessert my mom had the Grapefruit Cake and I had the Banana's Foster Cheesecake ( i have the recipes for both if anyone needs them)

I would recommend doing this as the food is Superb, the service was wonderful, and since it includes appetizer, entree, dessert, and soft drink is affordable for us when if we didn't do the package I would have to skip it.

do you get to order from the regular menu or is there a special menu??

thanks!!

We did the Hollywood Brown Derby as our Fantasmic Package this past Dec. I believe we were able to choose from the regular menu. I remember that we had the Cobb salad, steaks, and dessert. It was a wonderful meal and our waiter was excellent! We plan to do the same this coming Dec! ::yes::

IMHO, the Brown Derby is the best *in-park* restaurant in WDW.

If you count Epcot as in WDW I would say BD and Le Cellier are a tight first

I was told by CM that 4PM is the latest seating for FDP at Brown Derby. We had to take 3:40 for April 15, 2005 meal. Anyone been able to get after 4PM?

Hi Gail,
I do count Epcot but have to say I haven't tried Le Cellier since I'm not a steak fan. After reading all the good reviews, however, I think I need to try it!

I have a 4:30 reservation for the FDP. I figured 1 1/2 hours for dinner and then some time to walk around before heading in. Maybe they were just booked up for the day you are going.

Thanks Renate, your pictures have inspired me even more to go here.

FDP --I have had H&V and the latest I could book was 4:30. It was a good thing though, after dinner we got to stroll and shop at leisure and not a long wait. We had an 8:30 show. After the times are posted you can call back and try to get a later dining. Good luck!!

I will post me reviews after I return!!!! With pictures I hope!! :flower:
