Thanks for the tour of DHS this morning, MeMom!
It complemented my breakfast perfectly and brightened my morning a little bit. For some reason, I agreed to work today and I'm dreading it, so my morning needed a little brightening!
Sorry you had to go to work today, but I'm glad it could get a good start with some Disney happiness.
Ah, you made the girls at this house very happy this morning, MeMom -- Bo for Chelsea and Indiana Jones for me!
I love the Hollywood theming of the Studios -- I would so live in those Echo Lake Apartments in a heartbeat!
Glad I could start your day with some of your favorite fellas.
I love Hollywood, too, and I love it even more at night, I think, with all of the lights on the marquees all lit up in different colors.
we haven't bought it yet but ray's nephew came over last night and we rented it. it was awesome! i only played about 4 rounds because ray's nephew was here and i didn't want to hog the game. but wait until we take him home tonight...that baby is MINE!
you are silly, memom!
thanks! only you would think of that.
VERY cool! i will show those to ray. we have to get pregnant first though.
hopefully next time you take a walk with us you won't be in any pain either!
I do remember a man and woman looking at me kind of funny when I was lining the cups up just right.
I think you'll have a baby on the way within the next three months.
Be still my souvenir buying heart!!! What a great picture tour of DHS!!! I saw a couple of things I need to add to my to do list to for shopping purposes!!!
I'm catching up here...and ouchie to the bruise on Brooklynn's cheek!! I'm glad she was okay! The picture of Bella on the bed with her toys was just adorable that baby is so happy!!!
How is your leg doing???? I hope your recovery is going well!!! Thank you so much for a great picture tour this morning...retail therapy as I like to call it has done wonders for my morning already!!
What did you see that you liked? Taking pictures of things has actually saved me a lot of money, I think. If I know I can't afford it, instead of buying it anyway, I've just learned to be happy with the pictures.
Bella is a happy girl, and she just goes with the flow.
I'll tell you a funny 'leg story' in a minute.
Walt Disney invented Twitter!! Who knew??!!
Love the stroll through DHS this morning!
Long before its time.
Glad you enjoyed the walk.
Taking a break from laundry and packing to check for an update. I hope to be taking that same walk around DHS on Monday night.

This will be the real test of my new knee. I'm hoping that I will be walking instead of riding all week.
How fun for you! Lucky!!!
I hope the knee does wonderfully well.
We might be going to Disney on Ice too

. I know that is your family time, but if we go to the same show, maybe it will work out to meet after the show at the Hippo if the timing works out (I try to get Abby to nap in the afternoon). We haven't decided which show we are going to, but if there is one on Sat, it will probably be that one.
I love all the pictures this AM - it put me in my happy place
We've got tickets to the early Saturday show, so if you go to that one, maybe we can just meet you there. We will probably go home afterwards so the girls can nap. If we go to the
Disney Store, it'll be later in the evening or Sunday afternoon.
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.
Oh my! I spy several little souvies I'd like to get my hands on! I'm still intrigued by the mickey bar bag despite reports of its size. I will have to check it out! Can't wait.
Thanks for a lovely walk around DHS this morning, MeMom. I'm so glad you get to do it again soon without any knee pain!
It is smaller than big old teacher tote bags, but if you're not a teacher or are using it for something else, it may do fine. It is cute!
Four more weeks!
This might be one of the best updates ever. There was so many things I have never seen or noticed... windows, the famous people crates, American Idol store.
I think any mom feels that way in the morning at some point!
Dawn those star wars guys are hits! Luke loves his!
It's hard to slow down enough to see the details with kids, of course. That's why you need a grown-ups only trip someday.
I enjoyed that marvelous walk through DHS!! I can't wait, less than 2 weeks now!
Nicole's having a birthday!
And she's going to Disney World!!
In less than two weeks!!!

If you want a good laugh at my expense, read on.
This morning, I was cleaning out the back room even more than I did the last time and getting rid of more stuff. I organized and condensed and found some things I needed and was just having a productive time of it. After I had thrown a bunch of 'stuff' on the floor, I got down there to put it into different tubs. As soon as I sat down, I knew it was a mistake. My whole leg got a sharp pain down the side, but I moved to the side until it stopped. I figured since I was down, I might as well do the job I needed to do. I put markers in a bucket, index cards in a box, etc. for several minutes.
But then, when the task was done, I had to figure how I was going to stand up without putting the bad knee on the ground. I'm not strong enough to stand up on one leg, so I swayed one way and another and rolled on my back a time or two trying to figure out how to get up, but I was unsuccessful.
It was a true case of, "I've fallen, and I can't get up!"

I was laughing at myself and was glad no one was here. Finally, I just bit the bullet and had to put pressure on the bad knee in order to get up. It hurt like the dickens, but it was a good lesson. No more getting in the floor for me for a few more weeks, I'd say.
I'm dying to get up into the attic, too, but I'm thinking that's a 'no go' for a little while, too.
