Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Poor Brooklynn! Her little face with that bruise!! :(

We got Toy Story Mania for Wii the other day too! It's a lot of fun!! DH and the kiddos are playing it right now!! I only played it for a little bit on Tuesday but I'm thinking about getting my practice for next month!

Oh my....I just about fell off my chair with the comment about the "cows", TOO FUNNY!!! :rotfl2:

We love you MeMom. I agree, you are beautiful.

I'm sure if you took a pic of anyone of us after 3 days in bed, we would look the same if not worse...:rotfl:

Lovely roses! Very pretty! :flower3:

I'm off to go get catfood (I ran out) and boy are they letting me know!!! :lmao: I'm sure all of Canada can hear the meows....:lmao:

I can't believe you ever saw that! I wouldn't have thought you would have time to go all the way back and read everything. When you become a stay-at-home mom (I am so jealous!!!) you will have plenty of DIS time, but just coming off of vacation and getting back to work, I wouldn't have 'thunk' it!

Goofy's didn't used to have the party area. It's fairly new. They just moved a check-out area.

Bella just stares at people and things like they're crazy sometimes. It's funny! I would love to know what she is thinking inside that cute little head.

That was Brooklynn's first Beverly. We'll see if it is her last. :)

I was supposed to stay out until after I went to the doctor on Tuesday afternoon, but I went back on Monday with a crutch. Yesterday, I went with no crutch, but I could tell it last night and I can again this morning. Very sore, but I'll just have to keep working it out until I am back to normal. He said I would have 100% pain-free walking, but pretty much pain-free, so I'll be happy with what I can get.

Ya, I'm like that...I like to see what people said back...probably why I'm so far behind on reports though....;)

Ya, never know, maybe a Prince will come along and sweep you off your feet yet. I tell my Mom that too because she thinks she'll be working forever and never married again-but really, you just never know what will happen!!

I hope you are able to ditch that crutch sometime soon. I can imagine what a pain that would be when you have to walk children down hallways and things. When I broke my elbow when Henry was around 8 months, the doctors told me I wouldn't ever be able to make it straight again-they were wrong! I hope they are wrong too for you with the pain and you do end up pain free. But, like you-I was OK with whatever I could get and grateful I had an arm and wouldn't be stuck in a brace forever. (it was a loooong recovery road though...I was happy to ditch that brace for GOOD!)

but i've got friends!!! :rotfl: and some of those friends know how awesome you are and would be mad that you were saying you looked like a cow, too. so they'd help me! ;)

Ooooh, MeMom!!!!! You DID NOT look like a cow!!! I agree with Dawn, you are awesome and I would definately help her!! :lmao::goodvibes

I love Bella's Nemo outfit, it is so cute. Poor Brooklynn, you can certainly tell that hurt, I am glad she got better soon.

Jill, have you gotten Toy Story Mania yet? We got it last night, and it is pretty fun.

Nemo is cute anyway, and he's even cuter on little kids' clothes. :)

Brooklynn was over her tears very quickly and laughing at her friend, Donald, flying all over Mexico!

All caught up again!

I love Brooklynn's Beverly picture and how it looks like she is trying to wipe it off her tongue! :rotfl2:

Your fountain pictures are gorgeous. I really hope that it's not all boarded up like it was the last time we were there. I love when they start going to the music. :cloud9:

I know. I've seen some favorite fountains boarded up before, too, and it does zap something from the atmosphere that you're used to.

I hope to make it through today! :rotfl: Seriously, I feel so old..we went out last night with some friends..went bar hopping. Yeah. Bad idea. B/F and I both decided that we're never doing it again and we're perfectly happy being homebodies. :rotfl:

You are much safer being homebodies, too. People get crazy after dark!

It is definitely hard on your arm.

Good P.E. right at home!

I've been MIA this week, and just catching up. I love all the pictures. You will be right back there very soon - how exciting! Do you all have any Disney Store trips planned before the trip. I need to go before our Nov trip. Maybe we can meet up there.

I am sure we will get to the Disney Store on Jill's next trip up here, but I'm not sure when that will be. Most likely, it will be the first weekend in October, since she'll be here for Disney on Ice. We'll let you know exacts when we have them, and maybe it'll work out for you, too.

Walk through DHS that should be fun!

I'm putting them up in a few minutes.

I'll have to give it a try when I go to Alabama. I won't be any good at it, but it'll be fun to try!

The flowers were so pretty. They still are!

Poor kitties! I hope they enjoyed their feast.

I retired the crutches. I did walk too much at school this week, and I can tell it. I am not going to be doing much walking this weekend, so maybe by Monday the knee will be rested and more ready to handle things. I always get impatient and go too fast when it comes to things like this.

If God sends that Prince, I'm sure I will be very happy. He'd have to be a very unusual guy to want a frumpy old school teacher. If not, I'm happy with all that He has given me. I'm not looking, but if he runs into me while I'm not looking, I won't mind.

I agree with Dawn, I would definately help her!! :lmao::goodvibes

All this ganging up against me....

man, you guys are hurting me!!!

You are all sweet, but I hope you all have eye doctor appointments made, too! :goodvibes

While the girls slept, I decided I'd rather go take pictures. Hollywood Studios is close to Pop, so I just headed over there.

Entering the Studios.

A quick shout out to Bo.

IMG_0586.jpg

I don't think I had ever taken a picture of the back side of the truck, so I went around and snapped from that angle.

IMG_0600.jpg

IMG_0601.jpg

They didn't have these in 0-3 months, unfortunately.
Can't imagine why not!

IMG_0637.jpg

I know basically what this show is, but I've never watched it, so I had no interest in going in.

IMG_0638.jpg

I know it has a huge following, but I'm just not into contest shows.

Bob Newhart and Alan Alda busts.

IMG_0639.jpg

IMG_0640.jpg

I just happened to be standing there when the doors opened to let American Idol out. About three million people poured out of that place!

IMG_0642.jpg

I stepped in for a quick picture of the empty theater.

IMG_0643.jpg

American Idol merchandise.

It's always interesting to read the trivia questions.

IMG_0674.jpg

If you have time to look, this is an interesting place.

IMG_0675.jpg

IMG_0676.jpg

And then it was back on the bus for me...and back to Pop.

IMG_0677.jpg

Other than the burning sensation and stabbing pain in my knee as I walked along, the walk itself was enjoyable.

Hope you guys enjoyed it, too, and with much less pain! :)

Thanks for the tour of DHS this morning, MeMom!

It complemented my breakfast perfectly and brightened my morning a little bit. For some reason, I agreed to work today and I'm dreading it, so my morning needed a little brightening!

Ah, you made the girls at this house very happy this morning, MeMom -- Bo for Chelsea and Indiana Jones for me! :lovestruc

I love the Hollywood theming of the Studios -- I would so live in those Echo Lake Apartments in a heartbeat! ;)

I really enjoy it. It has the same games that are in the ride plus several others. There are different challenges and you have to get so many points to unlock the games in 3D.

we haven't bought it yet but ray's nephew came over last night and we rented it. it was awesome! i only played about 4 rounds because ray's nephew was here and i didn't want to hog the game. but wait until we take him home tonight...that baby is MINE!

You are all sweet, but I hope you all have eye doctor appointments made, too! :goodvibes

you are silly, memom!

I staged these so you could see fronts and backs.

IMG_0591.jpg

thanks! only you would think of that. :goodvibes

This is for Dawn's baby. I think Ray is a Star Wars fan.

IMG_0608.jpg

VERY cool! i will show those to ray. we have to get pregnant first though.

hopefully next time you take a walk with us you won't be in any pain either!

Be still my souvenir buying heart!!! What a great picture tour of DHS!!! I saw a couple of things I need to add to my to do list to for shopping purposes!!!

I'm catching up here...and ouchie to the bruise on Brooklynn's cheek!! I'm glad she was okay! The picture of Bella on the bed with her toys was just adorable that baby is so happy!!!

How is your leg doing???? I hope your recovery is going well!!! Thank you so much for a great picture tour this morning...retail therapy as I like to call it has done wonders for my morning already!!

Taking a break from laundry and packing to check for an update. I hope to be taking that same walk around DHS on Monday night.:woohoo:This will be the real test of my new knee. I'm hoping that I will be walking instead of riding all week.

We might be going to Disney on Ice too:). I know that is your family time, but if we go to the same show, maybe it will work out to meet after the show at the Hippo if the timing works out (I try to get Abby to nap in the afternoon). We haven't decided which show we are going to, but if there is one on Sat, it will probably be that one.

I love all the pictures this AM - it put me in my happy place:goodvibes

Oh my! I spy several little souvies I'd like to get my hands on! I'm still intrigued by the mickey bar bag despite reports of its size. I will have to check it out! Can't wait.

Thanks for a lovely walk around DHS this morning, MeMom. I'm so glad you get to do it again soon without any knee pain! :thumbsup2

This might be one of the best updates ever. There was so many things I have never seen or noticed... windows, the famous people crates, American Idol store.

I think any mom feels that way in the morning at some point!

Dawn those star wars guys are hits! Luke loves his!
