My DH was mowing the other day and a rock broke our new Jayco 5th wheel's large picture window.:headache: We were leaving on a trip the next day but we were able to get someone to come on site and put in a lexan replacement. He made a templet to put in glass later. Now my husband is considering not putting in glass and keeping the lexan. Can anyone give an opinion if this would be a good idea? If we have the lexan replaced with glass the cost for both services will come to $400.00.

We broke a window out of my dads trailer a few years ago and replaced it with lexan its still there and never had a problem. It was a 1' by 2' window

Our DS broke one of the french doors at our house trying to get in after locking himself out. It was the day before Thanksgiving and the emergency call repair could only provide us with lexan. That was about five years ago and we've never replaced it with glass. It looks just the same as glass. Crisp, clear view out of it. It works for us.
