Camilla broke a toe (more than a week ago) but is still managing her royal duties. Isn't that more than we needed to know?

Do we really care that King Charles has a valet put toothpaste on the king's toothbrush every morning, or that the king's jammies and shoelaces are ironed?

I guess someone would find that interesting.

On the other hand, I had an aunt that ironed everything. Towels, undershirts, everything. No royal people needed.

My mother used to iron absolutely EVERYTHING. Socks, underwear, the lot. She would put up the ironing board in the living room and watch TV while doing it.

Camilla had stumbled in a procession this week that was caught on camera.

So they explained why she could be unsteady.

Definitely not something I needed to know, but I do think it demonstrates how much they all just carry on with their duties without complaint. It’s her mother in laws funeral so of course she’d attend the ceremonies, but she is doing a lot of walking/processing and standing while most likely very uncomfortable and seems to have a pleasant expression on her face from the admittedly little I’ve seen.

Agreed. Chuck’s jammies and Cammila’s toe, TMI.

I don't think reporting about the toe is unreasonable since her walking would be affected and noticeable. People are probably asking. The other stuff is personal details that we have no need to know. I've had several broken toes over the years and have never tried to or been able to keep it secret, because it always affects my walking.

r.e. bold With all of the conspiracy theories and LIES making headline news, isn't it better to inform about why she might be grimacing and walking gingerly AND isn't it better knowing that KC doesn't sleep in his Birthday Suit :confused3

As someone mentioned, they have done a LOT of walking especially if not used to it. I think it came up because of that. Also just standing in place is hard on the body/back. I broke my to years ago and it really stunk, but there is nothing you can do for it when it's one of the smaller ones.
